The prep path, in order
- 1. Start with Partner Academy's Developer Deep-Dives and Cloud & Enterprise tracks.This exam sits a level above pure implementation - it tests architecture decisions, not just API calls, so the enterprise/deployment courses matter as much as the developer ones. Browse all courses →
- 2. Build along with the Cookbook, then design past it.Work through Anthropic’s official Cookbook examples, then practice the architect’s actual job: sketch how you’d combine them into a production system - error handling, cost controls, evaluation, guardrails.
- 3. Go deep on the API and MCP docs with an architecture lens.The Claude docs and MCP docs are the same references developers use - read them for system design tradeoffs (when to use a connector vs. a custom tool, how context and cost scale) rather than just syntax.
- 4. Study the official exam guide and blueprint.The versioned Exam Guide inside Partner Academy sets the actual domain weighting - use it as the source of truth once you're enrolled.
- 5. Practice with Partner Academy's course quizzes.No standalone public practice exam exists yet from Anthropic; treat the graded course quizzes as the closest official equivalent.
